Prestige Refit

County Contractors delivered a bespoke retail fit out and full store refit for Boots Opticians on Wigmore Street, transforming the existing space into a premium optical retail environment in the heart of London.

The project involved stripping the store back to shell before installing a new bespoke store concept designed to elevate the customer experience. The refit introduced luxury consultation rooms, a redesigned sales area with high-quality oak panelling, and new flooring designs to create a sophisticated and contemporary retail setting.

A key element of the project was carefully preserving the building’s original architectural features, including decorative plaster moulded ceilings and existing marble columns. County Contractors worked with precision to protect and enhance these heritage details while delivering a modern optical retail fit out.

Set on one of the capital’s most prestigious streets, the newly refurbished store brings together over 40 designer brands, including Cartier and Chopard, alongside cutting‑edge clinical technology and expert eyecare. Every detail has been thoughtfully designed to deliver an elevated, personalised experience for customers and clinicians alike.
