Since Ray Heathman founded County Contractors, in the West Country way back in 1976, we have undergone various stages of upgrading our identity. Back in the 70’s with one van and a small office it was easy, and the manifestation of a ‘logo’ was simply a case of employing a signwriter with a steady hand and a ladder, or a local printer with ink stained fingers, and letting them get on with it. Over 40 years later we find ourselves with a large fleet of vans, many employees, large premises, a host of business stationery items and frequent marketing opportunities. Perhaps more important than all of that is the need in the 21st century to present ourselves online, with an up to date website that does our company justice, and provides our audiences with a portfolio of our projects and information on the breadth of our skills and services. Having worked extensively with some of the UK’s finest designers and architects, we understand and appreciate the value of brands in every type of business. Fortunately we have some very clever friends like David Morris and his team at Studio Proof who have helped smarten us up with a refreshed and evolved identity being applied across our business. They also built this website for us.
