Boots The Chemist - Bath Southgate

We successfully tendered for this design and build 2000 sq.metre fit out project.

The property is a main flagship store for Boots The Chemist and the core was delivered by main developers allowing us to take vacant possession and fit out the new store within a 18 week timeframe.

This was a major fit out and incorporated many trades and disciplines over a 24/7 working pattern to ensure that the product was delivered on time.

The works were carried out over 2 floors and included main sales floors and back of shop and storage areas.

2 escalators were installed together with a new service lift, passenger lift and public staircase (using specialist materials).

Mechanical and electrical installation included a VRF system with an air handling unit (AHU) and condensers, all of which were roof located. This involved heavy lifting plant.

LV distribution was installed to serve the entire unit and other power and specialist lighting data (Comms Room and the provision for remote access) was installed.

A central control panel was provided to control and serve all plant and a fire system with mechanical shutters was also introduced together with a full Intruder (CCTV) system.

The entire sales area was laid to ceramic floor tiling and partitioning, suspended ceilings (main, bulkheads and dropped ceiling design), decorations throughout, shopfittings, new sales and stock offices, public and staff toilets and integrated opticians and photo labs were also provided.
