County awarded their first contract in Poland. Full refurbishment of the 5*Le Meridien Bristol Hotel (Warsaw) commences 27th February.

- 11/02/12 - County qualify as an approved contractor for Devon County Council
Following an initial pre-qualification process we have qualified as an approved contractor for Devon County Council on a framework basis. The works are to include general building refurbishment, remodelling & alterations and are to be scheduled for mid 2012.

- 24/01/12 - County achieve ISO 14001: 2004 accreditation.
Following months of hard work and following an extensive audit process County Contractors have achieved ISO14001 :2004 accreditation.
We are now approved as a high quality refrubishment and associated services supplier within the construction industry.
David Elliott, SHEQ Manager comments;

Summary of the ISO External Audit Report carried out on the 3rd February 2011
At County we take quality seriously. Here is a snippet from a 2011 audit.
CLOSING Meeting, significant arising Firstly, all of the records kept were neat, tidy and impressive. There has clearly been considerable effort expended by the Quality Manager in setting up and maintaining ordered records.
Overall, considering the length of time the Company has been working with the standard, this is a good performance. All of the key foundations are in place to advance to the next level and attention should now be given to the recommendations in this report.
All of the recommendations were discussed, explained and agreed with the Quality Manager. The organisation indicates a strong management system that, on balance, should provide a high degree of customer satisfaction.

At County we take quality in our procedures and processes seriously, here is a snippet from a 2011 audit.
AUDITOR RECOMMENDATIONS
Overall a very good performance with all completed records current and well ordered. There is a systemic approach to OHAS throughout and I have no hesitation in recommending that the Company receive continued certification and be retained on the ISO register of approved companies.
COMMENTS/RECOMMENDATIONS
Overall a strong and competent performance across all aspects of BS OHSAS 18001.
