Guoman Hotels - The Grosvenor Hotel, Victoria

We tendered in competition and were successfully awarded this exclusive project to carry out a major refurbishment to bedrooms, bathrooms, communal and back of house areas throughout in this high calibre hotel located in the capital.

The project was completed within a 19 month timeframe and in live conditions.

347 guest bedrooms over various floors were fully refurbished to a high specification including bathrooms and corridors.

Externally the original roof was covered by a specialist Kemperol coating system and the façade of the building was renovated utilising a specialist cleaning and non-abrasive system.

A new gymnasium was created and fitted out together with 11 new offices and meeting rooms and associated corridors, basement offices, sales team offices and storage areas.

A Champagne Bar and Executive Lounge were also constructed to a high standard with specialist lighting and joinery, all of which were manufactured off site for lean assembly on site.

Mechanical and electrical works were substantial and included for a new sub-station, LV distribution, air handling units which were located on the main roof, a complete new air conditioning system serving the guest bedrooms and upgrades to the original service lifts and the provision and installation of 3 new passenger lifts.
