Health & Safety

Our policy is to provide a professional and efficient occupational Health & Safety policy to meet our commitment to improving Health and Safety performance.

It is our intention for any potential risk related to works being undertaken by our team to be eliminated or reduced to a level which is acceptable under current Health and Safety legislation.

This is managed by means of our OHSAS 18001 accredited Health & Safety management system, independently assessed and monitored to ensure that the highest regard to Health and Safety is maintained at all times.

Data is collected via the site inspections, audits and reviews. This is then collated and reviewed by the Health and Safety team to ensure that the current goals and aims set by the company are being followed.

The company ensures that appropriate arrangements are in place so that each contract is carried out in accordance with current legislation and in conjunction with the Health and Safety goals as determined by the company.

Present 2011-2012 Health and Safety goals of the company are:

  • Compliance with all applicable Health and Safety Legislation
  • Accident Frequency Rate below the industry benchmarks
  • Reduce frequency of accidents year on year.
  • All Site Safety Inspection rating/s of at least "Generally Applies"
  • All Site Managers to hold CITB SMSTS qualification
  • The Companies Safety Management System (OHSAS 18001) is adopted and adhered to.
